Good Morning vs. Hello

Are you a “Good Morning” person or a “Hello” person?

It seems everyone says “Good Morning” to me, and I reply with, “Hi.” I just can’t bring myself to say, “Good Morning.” Even if I greet the other person first, I smile and still say, “Hi.”

What does this mean? Am I young at heart or or do I just not want to grow up? “Hi” seems like a kid way to say hello, but it’s also chipper.

I’m going with chipper. =)

Well, I’m guilty of ‘hey’ not even hi. Is it a generational thing maybe? But I also don’t say goodbye or good night a whole lot when leaving work.
